Rita Webb appeared in at least 30 episodes of The Arthur Haynes Show, her first appearance on the show seems to be the 23rd February 1963 edition, appearing for the first time as a soon to be familiar landlady, Rita gets a short walk on part as Mrs Briggs who interrupts a seance between Arthur, Dermott Kelly & Patricia Hayes. She was mostly used in the Arthur and Dermott tramp sketches as ther landlady, but also popped up as a French waitress, Nanny, Nurse and a singer at a local fete! she played Dermott's wife in several episodes too. It could be said that Rita Webb's real claim to fame came along as a result of working with Arthur in this series, she certainly never forgot him.. Thankfully most, if not all the episodes Rita featured in have survived and most of them have been released on DVD by Netwokonair across seven volumes
