Rita appears at the beginning of the film, she plays a flower seller, we see her from the right hand side of the screen as she sits opposite the Victoria and Albert museum selling flowers, a few words of dialogue are spoken, but it is clear that most of the dialogue was cut as you see Rita's mouth moving but no words coming out, the final shot sees a brief close up and back shot of Rita as she dashes towards the other side of the street
