| Rita appears in three scenes, but only speaks a
brief piece of dialogue in the first one, chasing her husband down
the stairs she shouts "Bring it back, Alf, Bring it back,
bring it back, That's the second time this month his taken my clock
to pawn, Alf, Alf!" Alf has legged it and she turns
and climbs the stairs with the look of dispair. The second scene
is brief and she is seen in the distance hovering at the foot of
the stairs to the front of the house, nosely looking at the action.
The third and final scene, Rita gets a close up along with the likes
of Marianne Stone as a young black girl tugs her arm. She even gets
a credit in the end titles cast as Mrs Brown! |
